I can’t believe how summer has flown by. My son started his senior year this week and my daughter leaves for her mission in just 13 days. Perfect timing to hop aboard the LDS blog train. The theme this month is from the children’s primary song: I Want to Be a Missionary Now. As I planned my contribution to the theme I couldn’t help but think of the changes recently announced for missionary service: 19 for girls and 18 for young men. My own daughter turned 19 this past week and this topic is now close to my heart. Hope you enjoy my spin. It seems that you just blink and they go from sweet little babies to independent adults. Here’s my daughter Natalie’s mormon.org profile: ( http://mormon.org/me/90SG/NatalieShepherd) It is wonderful to live in the Latter Days!
“I want to be a missionary now... I don’t have to wait until I’m 21″ I included a blank tag (not shown) for you to expand the kit and add your own titles. I used Arial Narrow for the font.
If you missed any part of the LDS Blog train for August a list of participating blogs is provided below. I’d love some feedback, a pin to your boards on Pinterest or a like on Facebook!
